Veneers
Veneers are tooth coloured coverings used to cover some imperfections on front teeth or to enhance the smile. Minimal trimming of the tooth surface may be needed to accommodate the veneers.
Depending on your situation and budget we may recommend composite or porcelain for the materials. Composite veneers are placed directly onto the tooth in the one visit. Porcelain veneers require shaping of the tooth to allow for the veneer. Then a precise impression will be taken and sent to our dental laboratory to make a custom-fit veneer to be adhered to the tooth surface.

Crowns: What is a dental crown? Do I need one?
A crown (also known as a “cap”) is used to protect a vulnerable tooth from cracks and fractures, and aims to prolong the life of the tooth. During the first visit your tooth will be precisely shaped and an impression taken to be sent to our dental laboratory for an accurately made crown. While this is being made you will have a temporary crown until your second visit where your crown will be permanently fitted.
A bridge is similar to a crown but involves 2 or 3 crowns attached together to replace missing teeth and close a gap. The procedure is quite similar to a crown and with each method the shade is matched as best as possible to your other teeth.
