Dr. Malathi (Mala)

Dr. Malathi, warmly known as Dr. Mala, is an experienced and compassionate dentist with over 15 years of dental experience. Having practised in India before making Australia her home, she has worked across both public and private dental clinics in Victoria.
Dr. Mala has proudly served the Hastings community for the past 5–6 years and is fondly known by many patients from the medical centre. Her calm, gentle and friendly nature makes her especially wonderful with children and elderly patients, and she is also highly confident in managing dental emergencies.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Mala enjoys spending time with her lovely daughter, as well as cooking and experimenting with different cuisines.

Dental Assistant
Sonia has over 30 years of experience in dental assisting, with extensive knowledge across all areas of dentistry. She has worked in practices across Hampton and Brighton, including assisting dentists in the care of patients with cleft lip and palate.
For the past four to five years, Sonia has been working in the Hastings area alongside Dr. Mala, where she has become a familiar and valued member of the local dental community.
Known for her warm and friendly nature, Sonia enjoys building genuine connections with patients and helping them feel comfortable. She especially loves chatting about pets and getting to know patients beyond their dental visit.
